This is a 1/48 F14A Tomcat Plastic Model Jet Aircraft Kit. Skill Level 2 for ages 10 to Adult, Intermediate to Advanced Modelers. Prototype Information: Grumman F-14A Tomcat The F-14A Tomcat was designed to be the US Navy's first line of defense against hostile aircraft. Powered by twin Pratt & Whitney TF-30 engines and featuring variable goemetry wings, the F-14A is the only plane in the Navy inventory able to carry the Phoenix missile which can hit a target from over 80 miles away when guided by the Tomcat's avionics.
