The Canadian Horse breed was developed from stock sent to Canada by Louis XIV of France in the 1600's. Living and thriving in harsh conditions created a breed known as the "little iron horse" due to their hardiness, strength, and versatility. Today the Canadian Horse is treasured by those lucky enough to own one.
