Hearts for Heart- Rahel Ethiopia Girl

Rahel is a kind and courageous ten-year-old girl living in Ethiopia. The people in her village have known hard times. The lack of rain has dried up many crops and there is not enough food. When the rain does come, it brings mosquitoes carrying malaria, a terrible disease. One night, a supply truck overturns; Rahel and her family make a desperate cross-country trip to rescue the supplies and bring them back to the village. Rahel secretly dreams of becoming a doctor; maybe then she can make a real difference.Rahel is the brave and caring girl living in Ethiopia with the biggest giving heart. Her village is living through a drought, which dries up their crops and causes food shortages. When the rain does come it brings mosquitos that carry malaria. Rahel helps her mother care for those suffering from malaria and dreams of becoming a doctor someday to make a big difference. Rahel shows her bravery one night when her family ventures across the African landscape to recue supplies from an overturned supply truck.
